If you live in Central Texas, then you know what company i'm talking about. Grande Communcations is a cable/internet service provider, but also provides phone service. However, let's talk about their cable/internet portion.
Cable
Pros:
- They have great picture. Granted, it's nothing like high-defintion, but you won't have any problems getting a clear picture.
- Basic cable has 78 channels. If you're the kind of person that doesn't need 1000 channels, this would be good for you. It has the spanish speaking channels along with every thing else.
Cons:
- If you have 3 or more TVs in your house, it will cost you.
I have never had a problem with their cable. So Grande, it looks like you passed this test.
Now, we talk about their internet service. It doesn't look so good.
Internet
Pros:
-Looking to upgrade from dial-up? Grande will help! They have a fast internet speed which allows you to move swiftly from one website to another.
- If you call them to help with your internet connection, they give you a time frame, and if no one is home, they will call you to let you know they are either at your house, or on their way.
Cons:
- The internet will go down on you every year or so.
- They will charge you and put it on the bill, even when they switch out the modem (99.9% of the time, that's the problem)
- Some of the internet technicians that walk through the house to your computer are nice, however, some won't talk to you or even tell you the problem.
So, it looks like Grande does well on cable, but not so much on internet. If you want a stable internet provider, research online before settling with a company.
Grande, I like your cable, but your internet could use improvement! Overall, not a bad company- but not the best either.
